사역소개

1) 선교 연구.전략 사역 (Glocal Leaders Institute: www.gli.center)

2017년 캘리포니아에 GLI 를 설립하여 선교의 현재와 미래를 준비하는 전략들과 교육을 통한 지도자 양성에 집중하고 있다. Local 의 선교.교계 지도자들과 함께 Global 하게 하나님의 사람들을 양육하고 있다(사진 4: GLI opening ceremony). 또한 디아스포라 교회들을( 한인뿐 아닌 모든 소수민족들 교회) 선교에 동원하고 선교적 교회로 가기위한 선교훈련 등을 담당하고있다 (사진 2)
Glocal is the combination of words of global and local. We aim to reach out to not only “the ends of the earth but also include locals—primarily focused on “Samaria” today. GLI focuses on ethnic churches in the U.S.: mobilization for the world mission and training (education) of church leaders locally and globally.

2) 유학생 사역 (International Student Ministry, ISM)

미국은 2019 통계상으로 보더라도 이미 백만명이 넘는 세계각국에서 몰려드는 유학생 인구를 가지고 있다. 이미 적은 숫자의 교회들이기는 하지만 미국에서 오래전부터 ISM 에 관심을 가지고 “하나님이 우리앞에 데려다 놓은 사람들” 을 훈련하여 조국에 돌아가서 영향력 있는 하나님의 사람들로 복의 통로가 되기를 위하는 일에 함께 동참하여 현재는 Cal State University, Fullerton (CSUF), Grace Mission University (GMU) 등을 집중하여 다 민족 젊은 인재들을 mentoring 하고있다.
Grace mission University became the platform for formal education. One of the examples is that we recruited 17 Indonesian pastors last semester who could not obtain any formal theological education. We are expecting more to have opportunities—GLI is offering four more scholarships in the Fall semester, 2021.
Also, 75 students who are not able to attend a formal education are taking basic theological and biblical classes with pastor Jonas (Indonesian Professor in GMU) through the YouTube channel.

3) 강의사역 (선교사.목회자 양성)

필리핀에서15년간 아시아 지역 목회자.선교사 양성을 위해 PTS-CAS 에서 강의 하였고, 2018년부터 현재는 미주 장신 (ptsa.edu) 을 통해 현지에 배치되어 있는 선교사들 포함, 선교사 및 목사 지망생등을 위해 강의하고있고, 영어로 강의하는 Grace Mission 대학 (gm.edu) 을 통해 미국내 뿐 아니라 중동, 아프리카, 아시아 등 글로발하게 online 강의를 통해 학생들을 양육하고 있다.
Continuing education for the missionaries: Recently, Dr. Esther Park presented a lecture series on Cultural Anthropology ( Ethnocentrism/ Worldview/Contextualization) for 47 missionaries from 13 different countries.

4) Mentoring for students: (www.jesusisChrist.com)

The above website has been created by the Koinonia education center, which specializes in Middle Easterner refugees. You can read their testimonies and prayer requests. They are currently studying at GMU (M.Div.). Even if we have never met each other, we are tied with the same JESUS’ DNA!
